據新華社電 美國疾病控制和預防中心研究團隊發現,正在剛果(金)使用的兩種試驗性療法對抗擊當前的埃博拉疫情有效。7 月 9 日發表在英國《柳葉刀—傳染病》雜志上的研究顯示,在實驗室中,抗病毒藥物 Remdesivir,以及由三種抗體組成的抗埃博拉藥物 ZMapp 可阻斷新一輪埃博拉疫情的致病毒株在人類細胞中增長。確認抗病毒藥物有效的關鍵之一在于找到此次疫情的致病毒株。論文第一作者、美疾控中心微生物學家勞拉 · 麥克馬倫說,目前在剛果(金)試用的療法均針對以前疫情中獲取的埃博拉毒株,而埃博拉是一種核糖核酸(RNA)病毒,會不斷變異,因此確定現有療法是否對新毒株奏效至關重要。美疾控中心研究人員沒有當前在剛果(金)傳播的 “伊圖里” 毒株樣本,但他們從開源基因庫中獲得病毒序列數據,使用 “反向遺傳學” 技術重組了毒株。這項技術有助于研究人員更多了解新毒株在埃博拉家族樹中的位置,從而尋找更多潛在療法,并測試各類新療法的有效性,還可與未來的新毒株進行比對。研究中還發現,2014 年到 2016 年西非多國爆發埃博拉疫情期間開發的一種實驗室病毒診斷方法可用于診斷 “伊圖里” 毒株。(周舟)文章摘自:生物360
